In the world

This is a soundtrack for an imaginary game, which might be called "In the world". Based on the theme of "In My world", the game represents a shut-in who never leaves his house, doing very little. It is all recorded on a Eurorack modular synthesizer, with little editing. Much of the compositional work is directed towards the sound design rather than traditional musical elements, to leave space for the game to be the foreground, while being disruptive enough to warrant listening in its own right. The dark rumble, the leitmotif, represents the inner guilt and shame of the main character. As the music follows the main character's emotions, it ends with comfortable, tepid stagnance. The final sound represents that the "good ending" is simply putting off the inevitable.
